Preston has arrived!! You guys I have been waiting for this one. I knew from the moment we met Preston that his story would be EPIC! I was n0t wrong! He is everything I hoped he would be. Preston reminds me of a crazy hot, tattooed, badass marine version of Spencer Reid from Criminal Minds & let me tell you, I love me some Spencer Reid! I just can't get over this guy! I'll be honest, I'm a sucker for a quirky heroine but very rarely do I get a quirky HERO! GAH! I'm in loveee!!! Preston is utter broken perfection. You know what I'm talking about ladies. Preston is the epitome of a loner. He's alone in life & in his own head. No one understands him. Until Mercy. I think she might be one of my favorite heroines EVER! If only for the fact that she cusses more than her man. lol But seriously I'm not going to drone on & on about how much I love both of these characters. The story speaks for itself. Sybil never lets me down which is why I have read every one of her books multiple times! This one is no exception. I'm trying to stay completely spoiler free in this post as requested so I will keep it short & simple. Top 5 SB books that I have ever read. With every book in this series she has reached a new level & I'm seriously bracing for whatever comes next. This book blew me away. I may be repeating myself but I'm almost at a loss for words without going into complete fangirl mode. 5***** all the way as usual! Way to go SB, way to fucking go!
