Review: Let me start out by saying that I always go into a Meghan March book warily. This is because I truly have no idea where she is going to lead me. Yes I know I will eventually get that HEA but between start & end I know I'm in for a wild ride. This book was no exception. I knew that once she announced she was diving back into the New Orleans underground we should all be prepared. I mean look at the insane rides she sent us on with the Mount & Savage trilogies! Moses & Magnolia's duet was no different. I thoroughly enjoyed both books but I have to say Madam Temptress was my favorite of the two. You got to see a lot more of the characters as they will be in the future. You got a good feel of them as a couple. You finally got their backstory. I've said it a million times but second chance romance is one of my all time favorite tropes. The love just feels so much more intense. One character trying to win the other feels so much more live or die. The way Moses wins Magnolia back is pure brilliant blinding love. He's desperate and in her own way she is as well. It makes them coming together again so much more intense & those sexy time scenes! GIRL! Meghan March knows how to write a sex scene! But she also seriously knows how to grip you by the throat and make you scream at your kindle. As it is with all her books there were several things I didn't see coming. Several times where I was talking to myself saying "seriously? what?" or chanting "no no no no!" I laughed, I cried, I highlighted like a mad woman & I went through more drinks then I should have but they were needed! But all in all I definitely enjoyed this book & I would recommend this duet 100% 5***** for sure!

Review:

So two things are a given when I go to read a Meghan March book. One: It's going to end in a cliffhanger & two: I'm going to love it. This book was no different. Like most of you I was dying for Magnolia's story! So when Meghan said she was finally writing it I was thrilled! But then I started worrying that no one could match her, that she would run rough shot over any man that tried. But then Legend introduced us to Moses. That man.. there is seriously so much I could say about that man. But I will stick to them as a couple. As many of you know second chance romance is one of my favorite tropes & Meghan's take on it did not disappoint! 15 years is a long time to be apart but she made it seem like it was no time at all. When true love is involved there really is no such thing as time. They have both been through so much while they've been apart but it only adds to their mystique. They're the same but new in a lot of ways. Now I wont give you a blow by blow of how this story unfolds. I feel that you guys need to find that out for yourselves. I will tell you that I loved the book & definitely recommend it! 4**** (would have been 5 but I wanted more in part one)

Okay guys so I know this is not my usual thing but I just had to share this book with you! I had a chance encounter with this author here in Vegas at a nail salon. I listened to her tell me about her story & about how this book came to be. We swapped life stories while sitting comfortably getting our nails done. It was totally fate stepping in. Her courage blew me away. While undergoing chemo after a double mastectomy she needed something to lift her spirits & that something turned out to be her son. Now being a mom of two amazing boys I understand how much they truly can brighten any day. She took this a step further & wrote in her journal about all the cute & funny things her son would say that would put a smile on her face or make her laugh. This book is that journal. It comes straight form the heart & you can tell how much love she has for her son. It's so real, so cute & definitely made me laugh. It is the perfect quick read to lift your spirits. It only took me about 45 minutes to read the whole book but it was 45 minutes well spent. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who is going through a hard time, or just wants a short but cute read. You can get it here: Amazon

Review: Getting Schooled is one of my all time favorite books. So finding out that EC was writing more in that world was a pleasant surprise. However I was a bit worried. I mean what could be better than an epic second chance romance? Well she definitely did not disappoint! A one night stand pregnancy romance! I was in trope heaven! Dean & Lainey are phenomenal! The entire book is entertaining, hilarious & Dean is absolutely swoon worthy in his own special way. If your looking for a light & easy read this book is definitely for you. It has it's sad moments but over all it wasn't too heart wrecking.

I give this book a solid 4 out of 5 stars!
