Royally Your by Emma Chase gets 5 stars! If I could give it more I would!
This book was absolutely everything that I didn't even know I wanted it to be. It was funny, relatable, breathtaking, heartbreaking & sweep you off your feet romantic. From beginning to end it had me wrapped in it's clutches & I was praying it would never let go. Seriously. Not being overdramatic. It was that good!

Now let me just say that when I became aware that this book was being released I already had high hopes. I love love loved ECs Royally trio & adored Queen Lenora. So I was already more then ready for her story & more of the Royally world in general. From the very beginning of this book I was sucked in by Lenora & her wit. She may have just been a little girl but I already saw glimpses of the woman we already knew she would become. As the story & her life go on we come to see just how much she has had to go through but she still stayed strong. The first being her parents deaths & her becoming Queen at such a young age. Then being told she can't be Queen without a husband because no one will take her seriously. I could not stop laughing when she told them all to shove it! But then it becomes apparent that she must do what she must do for the good of her country. In steps Thomas her best & only friend. Who agrees to marry her so that she has someone who actually cares for her. I adore Thomas on every level. His loyalty to Lenora & hers to him is so beautiful. When he gets sick & ultimately passes I cried so hard. I know it was needed for her to meet his older brother Edward but it still broke my heart. Edward promises Thomas that he will marry Lenora so that she is never alone. Their love story doesn't begin right away. There is mutual interest & attraction but neither of them act on it. Until Edward leaves for a job & realizes that he misses Lenora. Lenora feels the same. So when he returns they start on their forever. It starts slow but as their wedding approaches their relationship grows stronger & stronger. Their chemistry is off the charts. Edward is so sweet with Lenora, knowing this is all knew for her. He never pushes her. He only guides & teaches her. They respect each other. Lenora never treats Edward like he is less than she is. They are equals in every way that matters to them. Their love is so intense & breathtaking. The wedding night scene was scortchingly hot but also so unbelievably sweet. The birthing room scene shattered me! I was bawling even though I knew the outcome. But Edwards heartache was so intense I couldn't help but feel it right along with him. There were a few other tidbits throughout the book that I loved so I'll share a few. Getting Winston's backstory was so sad but seeing his love & loyalty for Queen Lenora made me love him more than I already did. But knowing he hooked up with Princess Miriam?! Umm wow! The fact that Lenora was taught about sex by an old guy named Dr. Hatchet who had diagrams had me laughing so hard I almost peed my pants! No joke! The fact that Edward went to The Horny Goat just like his grandsons & probably his son too was awesome. Not to mention he took Queen Lenora there! The fight between Edward & Winston was intense but then so enlightening. Now we know why they trust him so much. But the last little bit that made me laugh was getting to see cranky Fergus at just 10 years old! Guess what? He was cranky even back then! But he tells Edward he will never kiss little Thomas' ass & will treat him like a normal person. So now we know how old cranky Fergus got his job! All in all this book was incredible & now I want to go back & reread the whole series again. For the 6th time! I highly recommend it & would definitely give it more than 5 stars if I could!
My Favorite Quote:
"Won't you miss it? Won't you miss the freedom. The adventure?" I chuckle and shake my head. Because she still doesn't understand. I put my hand over hers. "Making a life with you will be my greatest adventure."Get Royally Yours Here: Amazon
